HELLO!! My name is Tara and I am a fine arts photographer serving Lake County IL.

 

Where to begin! I LOVE photography. I have been creating and taking beautiful pictures for over 20 years. Photography started out as a hobby of mine, and over time I grew to love photography as an art form to capture the moments in life that mean the most. 

I am a single mom of 2 amazing kids and I work full time! I have a lot going on in life, but I have always found time to keep photography a focus of mine. I have a very loving and supportive family that understand my love for photography and help me out every chance that they can! I hope one day they each find something they love to do as a hobby or for work.

I also enjoy other types of art and I try to surround myself with positive, loving people with the same interests as me. I enjoy meeting new people and capturing memories.

I work with my clients to determine their needs and wants. Natural, relaxed photographs are what I shoot for by engaging in conversation and making my clients feel at ease with me around. Being playful and silly make the best photographs! I thrive on creativity and trying to be different for each photography session by talking to my clients and getting to know them. Posed pictures are great, but a natural relaxed you is better!

I specialize in Family, Children, Smash Cake/One Year, Maternity and High School Senior photography. I am always willing to try something new and I find out from my clients what they are looking for. I am always improving my skill and finding out new ways to create stunning photographs!
